THE ALL NEW EF2200IS WITH CO SENSOR!

Designed for emergency home backup portable power use, RV and camping power needs, and as a power source on many DIY home projects, the EF2200iS is the first in Yamaha’s upcoming lineup of generators exclusively equipped with CO Sensor technology to meet the Portable Generator Manufacturers’ Association’s™ (PGMA®) ANSI/PGMA G300-2018 standard to monitor carbon monoxide emissions. When the CO Sensor detects elevated levels of carbon monoxide, the EF2200iS automatically shuts off and will remain off for approximately five minutes, with indication that the generator needs to be moved to a well-ventilated space. A new CO Sensor graphic and LED indicator lights on the control panel notify the user of carbon monoxide emission levels or system malfunctions.

Looks an sounds like a nice generator, I really haven't tried it yet I filled it with oil an gas an then started it, seam to run really well I'll put it to the test over the Holidays!

Just As Good As A Honda With More Features

Have about 50 Hours on this thing and it runs/works great. I put a few heavy loads extending beyond output capacity and it grunted thru those fine. All my friends have Hondas of the same size. They do not have carb bowl drain, and other features. Plus this came in over $ 300.00 cheaper than a Honda.

Perfect Generator!

This is the perfect sized generator for my hunting cabin in Maine. I use it to charge my batteries when there isn’t enough sun for my solar panels during the fall and winter. I was amazed at the great price and it arrived at my home rather quickly, seeing that it was shipped from California. Another awesome Yamaha product!

Great machine

Machine delivers it's rated output and then some. Noise levels under load are not bothersome at all. The large fuel tank (compared to others in this size range) is a wonderful feature, as are the fuel gauge and the carb drain knob. Shipping charges for this single machine were nominal; delivery took about a week, which was expected. I intend to order another one for parallel operation; should've done that initially and saved myself the shipping charges.

Better than a Honda for me.

The fuel gauge and larger gas tank is a welcome addition over other brands. This thing is built like a tank and with regular maintenance will last for years.
Checks all the boxes for my needs as a back up for hurricanes in Florida.
