THE ALL NEW EF2200IS WITH CO SENSOR!

Designed for emergency home backup portable power use, RV and camping power needs, and as a power source on many DIY home projects, the EF2200iS is the first in Yamaha’s upcoming lineup of generators exclusively equipped with CO Sensor technology to meet the Portable Generator Manufacturers’ Association’s™ (PGMA®) ANSI/PGMA G300-2018 standard to monitor carbon monoxide emissions. When the CO Sensor detects elevated levels of carbon monoxide, the EF2200iS automatically shuts off and will remain off for approximately five minutes, with indication that the generator needs to be moved to a well-ventilated space. A new CO Sensor graphic and LED indicator lights on the control panel notify the user of carbon monoxide emission levels or system malfunctions.

On time and on point

Yamaha EF2200is

We wanted this unit to run our 9200 btu air conditioner in our camper. I did install a soft start on the AC a couple of years ago. The Yamaha will start and run the AC with no problems. We even put it eco mode, operates fine.

Very happy with this purchase. Bought as backup power source while camping. Probably only 15 hrs of run time in past 2 years, but was a lifesaver running our AC in 110 degree temps. Quiet, dependable, reasonable weight.

Freezing temps just hit Texas. The power grid is challenged. My generator is ready for action.

It is quiet and reasonable light weight - yet it powers my RV and if needed, can power the frog in my home along with space heaters if the power goes out.

Purchased to replace my Honda 2200 that my daughter borrowed. Honda not for sale in CA any longer and Yamaha seems to be better anyway. Does all and more than the one my daughter borrowed.
